MATC Simulation and Gaming Department

In 2011, MATC’s Computer Simulation and Gaming Department installed the first GeoDome Panorama, with a 4m OpenDome Panorama and an OmniFocus 200 series projector. The Elumenati’s collaboration with MATC started in 2009, when we provided consulting services and Unity3D development for the Virtual Milwaukee project and formatted it for interactive display in the GeoDome Portal.

We continue to work with students and faculty in the gaming department at MATC as they add new models to Virtual Milwaukee each semester. In 2011, we created a custom Unity3D shader tool for the RiverPulse visualization project (part of Virtual Milwaukee). We also installed and trained students on the Unity3D GIS import tools we created as part of a previous project with RENCI at UNC Asheville.
